Patrick (or P-Track as he claims is his moniker amongst his friends) declined and said he’d join us next time. When we got there, I was quite excited to see “Goings” up on the wall next to first position. Chibby started with the Aberlour I had last time. Interestingly enough, he thought that it wasn’t as smooth as I did.

Meanwhile, I moved onto drink number 2, another single malt scotch whiskey from Aberlour called a’bunadh. This one smelled a little sweet, but was 59% alcohol and was too potent to enjoy the flavor much. While drinking, Chibbs and I discussed that we should photoshop some better name signs so that our names can be more easily read from the bar. My trek along the wall continues! Cost: $10.00

Today, I formally resigned from WebTrends. They have treated me well for 7 years, but it’s time to move on to the next challenge in my life. Some of the dudes in IT took me out for a beer. We usually hit the Yamhill Pub, a local hole-in-the-wall, but it was packed. We headed to Paddy’s and sat at the bar. The bartender introduced to “the wall” where they have over 400 bottles of various liquor. If you can make it to the end of the wall, you get 20% off your drinks for life. Sounds like a goal worth achieving. I am not a big drinker, so this will take me considerable time. Nonetheless, I will finish the wall someday.

Drink one was a 16-year-old single malt whiskey from the Aberlour distillery. It was smooth, had little aftertaste, and made my tummy warm. Cost: $8.50

Rebecca and I joined Weight Watchers again. The first time around, we lost about 25lbs each… then Christmas hit and we didn’t keep it up. A real tragedy as we put on more than we lost after that. We’re recommitted to it and on day 3, it’s not too bad so far. I’ve gotten fond of making super sandwiches without cheese and extra portions of veggies. Here’s hoping I can lose 8lbs per month, so that in about a year I will be sexxxay! (not that I’m not now).
